Terms of Service

Scale With Direction operates the service at scalewithdirection.com (“we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to these terms. Questions can be sent to support@scalewithdirection.com.

The free assessment produces a deterministic score and a recommended direction for one business task. The paid Starter System is a guided implementation workspace for one assessed task. Both are decision-support and educational tools.

Reports, recommendations, estimated time savings, and Starter System guidance are planning aids based on the answers you provide. They are not legal, financial, tax, employment, or professional advice, and we do not guarantee any particular result, saving, or return. You remain responsible for decisions you make about your business, staff, customers, and tools.

• The free assessment does not require an account.
• Workspace access is passwordless: a secure link is emailed to the address you provide.
• You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure.
• We may suspend access where the service is used unlawfully, abusively, or in a way that harms other users or the platform.

The Starter System is a one-time purchase of $29 one-time, processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Access is granted to the account associated with the purchase and is for your own business use; it may not be resold or redistributed.

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. That policy provides a 7 calendar day refund window for Starter System purchases. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory consumer rights that apply to you.

You keep ownership of the task descriptions, notes, and decisions you enter. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display that content back to you so the service works.

The assessment methodology, scoring rules, written guidance, interface, and brand assets are ours or our licensors’. You may use outputs for your own business. You may not copy, resell, or republish the underlying material as a competing product.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, except to the extent mandatory consumer-protection laws of your location apply.
