Starter System — $29 one-time purchase

Turn one automation opportunity into a structured build plan.

One selected task. One guided build, stage by stage, from how the work runs today to a monitored launch. It is a one-time $29 purchase with no subscription, and it does not replace the free assessment or Priority Plan, which stay free.

Checking your assessed tasks…

What you get

A worked build plan for one task.

Not a course, not a chatbot, and not a promise that software will build or deploy the automation for you. It is a structured workflow you complete for your own task.

Clarity on the task and the outcome

Confirm exactly which task you are building for and what a good result looks like before anything is configured.

A map of how the work runs today

Write down the real current workflow — trigger, information, steps, exceptions — instead of automating an imagined version of it.

A clear division of responsibility

Decide what software should do, where AI genuinely helps, and which parts stay with a person who owns the outcome.

Safeguards designed in, not bolted on

Review points, exception handling, and controls before consequential actions are taken.

The smallest sufficient tool set

Choose tools after the workflow and the safeguards are settled, so you buy for a decision you have already made.

Testing against the awkward cases

Run the flow on real examples, including the ones that usually break, before it touches anything live.

A launch with monitoring and an owner

Go live with a named owner, a way to notice problems, and a way to stop or roll back.

The seven stages

Every build follows the same order.

  1. 1

    My Automation

Confirm the one task you are building and what a win looks like.

  2. 2

    Map It

Write down how the task actually runs today, step by step.

  3. 3

    Divide It

Split the work between automation, AI, and the human who owns it.

  4. 4

    Design It

Turn the split into a concrete flow with safeguards at each step.

  5. 5

    Choose Tools

Pick the smallest set of tools that can run the designed flow.

  6. 6

    Test It

Run the flow on real cases, including the ones that usually break.

  7. 7

    Launch It

Go live with monitoring, a rollback path, and a clear owner.

Who it’s for

Who this is for — and who it isn’t.

This is for you if…

  • You run or operate a small business and have one real, recurring task in mind.
  • You are willing to describe how that task actually works today.
  • You want to keep review and control over anything consequential.
  • You are ready to test the flow yourself before it goes live.

This is not for you if…

  • You want to buy tools before choosing which task to build.
  • You want software to replace professional, legal, or financial judgment.
  • You want unattended automation of high-consequence decisions.
  • You want a done-for-you agency build; this is a guided workflow you work through.

Safeguards

Automation never removes your responsibility.

The level of safeguard is matched to the level of consequence. Responsibility for the outcome stays with you and the person who owns the task.

Human review before consequence

Anything that sends money, commits you to a customer, or is hard to reverse is designed with a person approving it first.

Exceptions stay visible

The design names what counts as an exception, who sees it, and how the flow is paused or stopped when something looks wrong.

High-judgment work stays human

High-risk or high human-value work is never forced into full automation. The support around the decision is what gets built.

Pricing

$29, once, for one automation.

  • Covers the seven guided stages for that single automation.

  • The free assessment, report, and Priority Plan remain free.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Do I need an account?
The free assessment and your Automation Opportunity Report need no account or email. A purchase is secured to a private passwordless workspace so your build stays available to you later.
Is this a subscription?
No. The Starter System is a $29 one-time purchase for one selected automation. There is nothing recurring.
Does it start by choosing tools?
No. Tools come after the workflow, the division of responsibility, and the safeguards are decided. Choosing a tool first is how most automation projects go wrong.
Does AI run everything?
No. AI is used only where interpretation genuinely helps, and the human role — review, ownership, exception handling — is designed explicitly at every stage.
What if my task should stay human?
Then it stays human. The Starter System helps you design a safe support workflow around the decision rather than forcing the decision itself into automation.
What is the refund policy?
You can request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase by emailing support@scalewithdirection.com from the email used at checkout. Refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe; your bank or card issuer decides how quickly it appears. Access to the purchased Starter System may be revoked once refunded. After 7 days, requests are considered case by case. Duplicate or accidental charges are corrected regardless of timing, and your statutory rights are unaffected.

Full terms are on the Refund Policy and Terms pages.
